Cette série HBO est développée par Michael Patrick King. Il sert de renouveau et de suite de l’ancien Classic Sex and the City qui a été créé par Darren Star, basé sur la chronique de journaux de Candace Bushnell et l’anthologie du livre de 1996 du même nom.

Il va y avoir de nouveaux visages au cours de la deuxième saison. Nous verrons John Corbett comme Aidan Shaw et Candice Bergen comme Enid Frick aux côtés de Tony Danza, Sam Smith et Victor Garber. La plus grande surprise est, bien sûr, le retour de Kim Cattrall en tant que Samantha Jones.

i’m 99% sure the needle drop under Candice Bergen’s scene is AJLT Ep 4 is Santa Maria by Gotan Project, and this is why music supervisors are so brilliant because using a song from the heyday of SATC in a scene with a SATC character made the whole thing so deliciously nostalgic.
